10 day challenge-Post 6

I know I am late again…I should have finished the challenge by now…but…. I am tied up with so many things. No excuses…. I know.
The next one is Five foods…did I hear it right….only FIVE…..this is not done…especially for a foodie like me….. This blog will not be enough to write all my favourite foods: P
Here are my favourite Five
  1. IDLI….the yummy soft and spongy IDLI’s mom used to make…I could gobble up 12 idli’s easily in one go….I can have idli’s 3 times a day…hmmmmmmmm lovely….
  2. Yummy Pav-Bhaji  made by my sister….I don’t prefer to eat pav-bhaji anywhere else…meri behen kay haath me ek anokha jaadu haiJ There’s some magic in the way she prepares….nobody can beat that taste.
  3. Kerala Aappam…again a mouth watering dish. A healthy and stomach filling breakfast.
  4. Plain rice and Shallots (Small onions) Sambhar…the Pallakad (Kerala) Iyer style. At my dad’s place weekend’s were special…and the menu used to be Sambhar rice, Cabbage bhaji and aapalam…
  5. Paal Payasam or Kheer…but again the Pallakad (Kerala) Iyer style. I make it at my place during festivals.
Apart from these…there are many more…the Mumbai chat items, Masale Bhat made by my MIL, Puran Poli….I better stop here. 😛
I shall be posting the recipes soon…so watch out this space.
