Day 4- 30 days to a Grateful Life

“God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds
today. Have you used one to say “Thank you?” ~William A. Ward

From the
time you step out of your bed and as your day progresses, we all have certain “Aha Moments”, don’t we? It may be
anything, a call from an old friend, a hundred rupee note in your jeans pocket or
a recipe that turned out to be a yummy. It could be anything that gives you a
feel good factor, anything that delighted you, which made you happy for that
particular moment.
Right now as
I type this I can hear the sound of the raindrops, I can hear the thunder and
can see the lightning. Now close your eyes and give yourself few seconds, think
about all those moments, which made you happy, which made you smile and just be
grateful for those. The moments can be from your past, from your childhood or
from your current day.
Join me on
the fourth day of the “Gratitude Therapy” and let us be grateful for all those
small moments, which left a wide smile on our lips and a forever imprint on our
hearts.

you guys will also have plenty of such “Aha
Moments”.
So what are you waiting for, just grab a pen or post a comment
and tell me more about such moments.
If you wish to participate all you need to do is follow these rules:
  • For
next thirty days write about the things you are grateful for (it maybe
in your blog or in your personal journal, not necessary that you write
    ten things.)
  • Do post your link in the comment box, if you have a blog and have started this therapy.
  • You can even post pictures, in case you are unable to write.
Keep Smiling and be Grateful,

Gayatri

  1. Whoa!! That was a long list Gayu 🙂

It is such a contrast na just yesterday we were talking about whether it would difficult to get 10 things to be happy about and today you have 23 in the list!!

Way to go dear…cheers to all of these moments and many more to come.

I see a lot of similarities in this though – dancing, elocution, writing the 1st poem…etc etc 🙂

  2. I am also grateful to those moments, when my sister got marriage. Also to those moments when she gave 2 beautiful nephews to me. Those moments increased my love and respect for her more.

I am also grateful to my first manager because of her I was able to start my professional career even though I was not aware how to operate computer.

  3. @Jack
This attitude, is really working wonders. I am feeling much relaxed and I am sure by the end of the next 25 days, my thoughts will be much clearer.

Thank you for being a support.

    @Chetan
Felt very nice to hear about the lovely moments. May you be blessed with many more such moments.
    Gayu
